How can NJROTC cadets demonstrate their knowledge?

Demonstrating knowledge in the NJROTC program involves the use of structured ways to assess and showcase understanding and skills acquired in the program. One of the most significant ways this is achieved is through exams and competitions. These formal evaluations allow cadets to apply what they have learned in a test environment, reinforcing their comprehension of naval science, leadership principles, and other relevant topics.

Exams serve as a benchmark for both the cadets and the instructors to gauge mastery of the material and to identify areas that may require further study or reinforcement.
